Christian Knowles started in the comedy business in 1996 when he set up The Monday Club, a monthly comedy night in Soho, London. The club is now in its thirteenth year and is located opposite The London Eye aboard The Tattershall Castle.

 
   
 

Christian Knowles Productions now programme 25 regular comedy clubs in the UK and abroad and have produced So You Think You?re Funny? for Channel 4 and have promoted The BBC New Comedy Awards. At the Edinburgh Festival they have produced Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Jonny Sweet (Best Newcomer 2009) and nominees; Tom Wrigglesworth, Micky Flanagan, Paul Sinha, Ivan Brackenbury, We Are Klang, Rhod Gilbert, Alun Cochrane, Terry Alderton, Stefan Golaszewski and Mark Watson.

They have also promoted national tours for Terry Alderton, Micky Flanagan, Paul Sinha, Ivan Brackenbury, Daniel Kitson, Mitch Benn and Mark Watson.

CKP works regularly with the newest acts on the circuit right through to household names like Graham Norton, Jimmy Carr and Michael McIntyre. As self-confessed comedy anoraks their encyclopaedic knowledge and expertise is regularly in demand for corporate events and castings.
