Christian Knowles started in the comedy business in 1996 when he set up The Monday Club, a monthly comedy night in Soho, London. The club is now in its eleventh year and is located opposite The London Eye aboard The Tattershall Castle.

 
   
 

Christian Knowles Productions now programme 25 regular comedy clubs in the UK and abroad and have produced So You Think You’re Funny? for Channel 4 and have promoted The BBC New Comedy Awards. At the Edinburgh Festival they have produced Perrier and if.comedy Award Nominees; Paul Sinha, Ivan Brackenbury, We Are Klang, Rhod Gilbert, Alun Cochrane, Micky Flanagan and Mark Watson; the inaugural winner of the if.comedy Panel Prize. They have also promoted national tours for Micky Flanagan, Paul Sinha, Ivan Brackenbury, Daniel Kitson, Mitch Benn and Mark Watson. CKP works regularly with the newest acts on the circuit right through to household names like Graham Norton, Jimmy Carr and Johnny Vegas. As self-confessed comedy anoraks their encyclopaedic knowledge and expertise is regularly in demand for corporate events and castings.
