Amused Moose Finalist 2017
BBC New Comedy Award Semi-Finalist 2017
‘Jet black, funny and unsettling’ – Chortle
‘Clearly an act that will be going places’ – Bruce Dessau
Combining his confident on stage presence, dark humour, surreal material and one-of-a-kind customised keyboard, Huge has quickly risen to become one the most promising new acts in the UK.
Having only tried stand up for the first time in late 2014 during his final year of University, he is now a finalist in the Amused Moose New National Comic of the Year, the final of which will be held at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival.
Huge started his comedy career at the Soho Young Company comedy lab, performing regular sold out showcases at the Soho Theatre. Within his first year of comedy he had supported such acts such as Sara Pascoe and Nish Kumar. At the 2016 Fringe Festival he took up his first shared midnight stand-up show Joking Hazard with fellow comedian Sam Lake, as well as Karen Hobbs: Tumour Has It at the Underbelly, which he co-wrote and directed.
This August he will be performing the comedy musical Bendiana Jones and the Temple of Huge at the Edinburgh Festival, with his writing partner Bennet Kavanagh, which is currently previewing.
